First generation decks vs second generation and third generation

Post by Guest on Thu Nov 14, 2013 5:27 pm

Ever wonder why you find yourself losing alot when you stick to your first generation builds such as exodia and e-heroes.

The answer is quite simple, you see yugioh has changed much over the years due to the new addition of xyz and synchros.... Now or days people are using fast decks that swarm the field with synchros and xyzs.

You see, xyzs allow you the benefit of summoning powerful monsters very quickly with little to no effort, all you require are 2 or more monsters with the same level where as if you use a first generation deck you need to draw the card to get your combos out.

Synchros are a bit slower because you need to draw the tuner monsters before you can synchro summon which actually makes it a bit fair to first generation users though not quite on equal grounds....

In summary, First generation decks have a high losing rate because they are much slower then second generation decks(synchros) and third generation decks (xyzs). In other words if you are losing with your first generation builds its likely because your deck is slower, so do not fret if you have a high losing rate with your deck builds

Not to...completely shoot this thing down but this is kind of obvious. .-.

It's like saying "Ever wonder why we use guns nowadays rather than the good old swords?"

Lols Thought your right. 9/10 times A gun beats a sword one on one. However, it all comes down to the gunman and the swordsman. Not the weapons they use. I could have Excalibur and beat Chidori who has a machine gun. Or vice versa. I've seen E-heros do well slightly. IDK just comes down to the duelist.

Perhaps... but you see this article is up for those who don't already know this.
